Awarded by public tender, this new educational project aims to renovate and increase the existing infrastructure, carrying out the design, execution and works supervision and incorporating new sports facilities.

Ingennus has worked together with the local Panamanian studio CGO Arquitectura y Diseño in providing technical assistance to the construction company Copisa, which will be in charge of the complete renovation of the sanitation facilities, as well as replacing the water storage tanks and pumps and the remodeling of the whole structure.

The construction works amount to 8.5 million dollars and have been sponsored by the Panamanian Ministry of Education (MEDUCA), within the framework of “My School First”: a Government program supported by several organizations and focused on improving the country’s educational establishments. The program’s ultimate goal is to obtain the appropriate infrastructure, to facilitate the population’s access to basic services and to ensure a sustainable maintenance in the long term.

Our proposal includes the construction of 10 new classrooms, a school canteen and cafeteria, a sports complex and a six-lane running track. Furthermore, the project will comprise the restoration and adaptation of classrooms and studios, a gym, outdoor locker rooms and a soccer field with its respective grandstands.

Having presented the Preliminary Project last Friday, we will proceed to elaborate the Executive Project over the next two months and, after its corresponding period of approval, the construction works will start.
